Reflection
My pastor recently spoke on what true riches are and he referred to Matthew 6. It says “Do not store up for yourselves treasure on earth, where moth and rust destroy...for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” He said the only riches we have are ones that cannot be destroyed by rust or moths. I sat there thinking of the treasures in my life. One thing that came to my mind was that Christian Education is a treasure. It is something that builds up, stands the test of time and does not get destroyed. One testament I have to this is my daughter.
She attended Battle Creek Christian School and last week Monday she went before the elders and pastor of the church and spoke about her faith in Jesus Christ and her desire to serve Him in her life, in our church and to become a professing member of our church. There were a lot of factors that led to this lifechanging
decision but I know that the background of Christian education was one important factor. At Battle Creek Christian, your child will get a strong academic education but more importantly, we are here to build up enduring treasures.
